Randolph Eastern School Corporation (RESC) has a strong foundation of project-based learning opportunities, dual enrollment, CTE partnerships, and collaborative efforts with industry, city government, and the community. Inclusion and innovation are hallmarks of Randolph Eastern, with RESC providing numerous clubs and organizations in which students can participate and grow. Recently, Indiana recognized RESC with a STEM Certification and, for the fourth consecutive year, the school has been named a Distinguished District from Project Lead the Way. Through a joint effort with Union City, RESC has established Vision Corner, an innovative new approach to learning that combines college and career readiness activities to give students another unique way to learn and grow. If awarded the million dollar Yass Prize, RESC would build on its innovations and grow additional partnerships so that students can seek more certifications and earn college credit right out of high school.
