The trusted tutoring and community group partnered with several faith-based organizations embedded in the poorest communities of northwestern South Carolina to stand up ten pandemic pods serving 250 children. With additional resources, the relationships they formed by serving hundreds of children during COVID in partnership with African American churches will be the basis for a new private school in the Judson Mill community.
