For 16 years, ASU Prep has pioneered innovation in education, and seven years ago launched ASU Prep Digital, a fully online K-12 school that serves students nationwide. In 2022, ASU Prep took the best of the digital model and started to blend it with in-person opportunities for learners, giving families in Arizona the ability to attend one of five ASU Prep Microschools with options for in-person, project based learning, community building, and exposure to a college campus and college courses. Now ASU Prep is launching a National Microschool Fellowship program designed to empower parents, educators and local entrepreneurs to design customized microschools powered by ASU Prep curriculum, adaptive tools, teachers and Learning Success Coaches. If awarded the $1 million Yass Prize, ASU Prep will launch the Microschool Fellowship Program as well as expand its own ASU Prep Microschools.
